Soldier Boy Blue.
Come brave soldier and show me your gun
The one you made the Indians run from
Why did you shoot the women and children to
Where they a threat because they disliked you

Dressed in blue
Dressed in blue
With burgundy sash around you
The colour of blood is shining through
Why are you dressed in blue

Come brave soldier and show me your sword
Where you charged with your horse at the red horde
You chopped them down and left them dying
Then trotted away with your medals shining

Dressed in blue
Dressed in blue
How your exploits survive you
Your transparency is shining through
Why are you dressed in blue

Come brave soldier and show me your skills
Bullets against arrows so easily kills
With rifle and cannon in the cold light of day
You blew them all away

Dressed in blue
Dressed in blue
So far away they can’t see you
They never saw it coming through
Why are you dressed in blue

Come brave soldier you outnumbered them
By twenty to one with women and children
You were trespassing you were on their land
Murder and murder goes hand in hand

Dressed in blue
Dressed in blue
There’s another colour beneath you
It’s a yellow band shining through
Why are you dressed in blue
